Transportes Aeromar, SA de CV is an executive airline in Mexico, this privately owned company founded on January 29th 1987 with the company goal to provide regional air transportation for passengers and cargo.
Aeromar adquired the anglo-french made ATR-42 turboprop aircraft, equipped with state-of-the-art aeronautical systems and considered to be the most modern, comfortable and safe to operate in any kind of airport, on short and medium range routes.
Aeromar received their first aircraft on October 28th 1987 from Touluse, France and its maiden flight was on November 5th of the same year with 3 daily flights from Toluca to Acapulco.
By april 1989, Aeromar was already serving 11 destinations and in that year the main maintenance base was moved to Mexico City´s aiport.
With 19 years operating, Aeromar now operates a fleet of 16 ATR42 aircraft, serving 24 destinations within Mexico.
Mexicana maintains an agreement with Aeromar in order to provide a greater connectivity and to offer a presence in the central and southeastern market regions by offering code share flights and frecuent flyer agreements.

The first commercial airline founded on the American continent and second in the world, Avianca offers Colombia and world travelers its Connection Center in Bogota, with approximately 6,000 possible weekly connections. Avianca operates an average of 290 daily flights to 18 destinations within the Colombian territory and 17 destinations abroad. In order to offer more connections and better schedules, Mexicana and Avianca code share the route Mexico City-Bogota-Mexico City, with daily operations in this important market.

In January 2004 Mexicana Airlines signed an agreement to formalize its alliance with Iberia, representing the largest effort between commercial airlines in Mexico and Spain. Through the Mexicana Airline Network, Spanish travelers are able to choose more than 30 domestic destinations, connecting from the distribution centers in Mexico City and Cancun, 10 destinations in the USA and 3 more in Canada. Mexicana passengers enjoy Iberia's transatlantic flights, linking 31 destinations in Europe, 6 more in Africa and the Middle East, and 34 within Spain.
The airline was founded in June 28th 1927 by Horacio Echeberrieta. The first comercial trip between Madrid and Barcelona was made on December 14th 1927, with Alfonso XIII beign a passenger on that flight. In 1928 the airline had 3 Rohrbach Roland aircrafts which were trimotors with a capacity of 10 passengers.
Iberia is a Spanish airline, whose oficial name is Iberia Lineas Aereas de España S.A. It is one of the oldest airlines in the world and it is ranked as one of the 5 largest airlines in Europe.
Currently Grupo Iberia flies to 97 destinations in 40 diferent countires, and with code share flights with partner airlines they offer 60 more destinations in 25 countirues. Japan Airlines, founded in 1951, has approximately 24,173 international and domestic flights. Mexicana Airlines signed a code share agreement on September 2005 allowing Mexicana Airlines to connect flights from Los Angeles (LAX) to destinations like Narita (NRT) and Osaka (KIX) in order for you to have the opportunity to access a multitude of options in schedules and frequencies, and easier connections with Japan Airlines. Japan Air Lines Co., Ltd. was established in August 1951, with the government of Japan recognizing the need for a reliable air transportation system to help Japan grow in the aftermath of World War II. On October 25, using three Northwest Airlines Martin 2-0-2 aircraft, and Northwest crews, Japan Air Lines began serving several domestic cities from Tokyo
In 2001, Japan Air System and Japan Airlines agreed to merge. On October 2, 2002, they established a new holding company called Japan Airlines System
On April 1, 2004, JAL changed its name to Japan Airlines International, and JAS changed its name to Japan Airlines Domestic. JAS flight codes were changed to JAL flight codes, JAS check-in desks were refitted in JAL livery, and JAS aircraft were gradually repainted. On June 26, 2004, the parent company Japan Airlines System was renamed to Japan Airlines Corporation.
